GRADE 7

Grade 7 Geography

  • A2.2 – gather and organize data and information from a variety of sources, and using various technologies, on the impact of natural events and/or human activities that change the physical environment, ensuring that their sources reflect more than one perspective
  • B2.2 – gather and organize data and information from a variety of sources on the impact of resource extraction/harvesting and/or use, ensuring that their sources reflect more than one perspective

 

GRADE 8

Grade 8 Geography

  • A2.2 – gather and organize data and information from a variety of sources, and using various technologies, on the impact of natural events and/or human activities that change the physical environment, ensuring that their sources reflect more than one perspective
  • B2.2 – gather and organize data and information from a variety of sources on the impact of resource extraction/harvesting and/or use, ensuring that their sources reflect more than one perspective

 

GRADE 9

Grade 9 Issues in Canadian Geography

A1. Geographic Inquiry

  • A1.2 – select and organize relevant data and information on geographic issues from a variety of primary and secondary sources ensuring that their sources represent a diverse range of perspectives
  • A1.3 – assess the credibility of sources and information relevant to their investigations

A2. Developing Transferable Skills

  • A2.2 – apply communication skills, showing consideration for diverse perspectives and experiences, when
    engaging in discussion of complex geographic issues and sensitive topics
  • A2.3 – apply the concepts of geographic thinking when analysing current events involving geographic issues in order to enhance their understanding of these issues and their role as informed citizen

 

GRADE 11

  • Forces of Nature
  • Travel and Tourism
  • Introduction to Spatial Technologies
