CTRL-F: Find the Facts — Contemporary Digital Literacy Skills
Help students learn strategies to evaluate digital information.
CIVIX is offering a series of professional development sessions to support bringing the CTRL-F verification skills to the classroom. Workshops will focus on guided practice using engaging examples from the CTRL-F curriculum.
Participants will be introduced to the CTRL-F methodology and three core skills, and demonstrated the techniques before applying the learning to guided hands-on practice. Examples will include false/misleading as well as reliable information, drawn from a range of online sources
The session will be held on Zoom. Total session time is 75 minutes.
